Have I mentioned that I love, love, love DocuSign? This is the thing I have wanted for years and am now enjoying.

If you are from my generation (Gen X or Y), you appreciate all things GREEN. I was one of the first in my field in Santa Barbara Real Estate to jump on the “scan” bandwagon – I prefered electronic documents over hard copies, and I emailed copies of contracts to clients rather than printed them. I also took advantage of an e-fax early on, rather than a standard fax.

The one thing that was lacking in my business was being able to sign documents electronically.  DocuSign has come to the rescue here! Prior to using DocuSign I hated having to print things in order to sign them and then scan them again to be emailed.  Thankfully, that step has been removed. 

The BEST part about DocuSign is the convenience for my clients.  Now, none of my homebuyers or sellers will have to print anything to be signed.  Nor will they have to leave their house to fax anything if they don’t have a scanner or a fax machine.  They simply can view the documents on their computer screens and “sign” them right there without printing a thing!

Thanks to DocuSign I can save paper, as well as time (for my clients and for me), and I can sell real estate in a more eco-friendly way.  Woohoo!
